New blog post: Testing the global workspace at open frontier scale: the Jacobian lens on DeepSeek-V4-Flash and GLM-5.2 — porting Anthropic’s Jacobian lens to DeepSeek-V4-Flash and GLM-5.2, we find that the workspace’s operational signatures—the band, ignition, and causal importance for multi-hop reasoning—transfer across both open families, while its separation from the automatic next-token pathway does not appear on either; two post-trainings of one reported base also let us ask whether a training recipe is visible in J-space (code).
